About

I’m a full stack engineer based in Ambato, Ecuador, working remotely with clients in Ecuador and the United States. Most of my work happens below the interface: the data models, business rules and APIs a company depends on to get its numbers right.

At Prex Technologies I work directly with clients to gather requirements and design the architecture of custom corporate platforms. I modeled the rules engine, billing and certificate issuance behind CASA Ecuador, built credit reports and third-party APIs for the Mi Aval FinTech system, and I’m currently building the accounting module frontend of Sym70, SEMAICA’s ERP.

I also take on independent projects end to end, like the website and booking system for a tattoo artist working across several US states. I studied Software Engineering at ESPE, where my thesis connected large language models to an Odoo CRM to answer customers automatically.

Day to day I work with TypeScript, Node.js, Python (Django, FastAPI), React, Astro, PostgreSQL and Docker.
